Rules for Buyers

Exclusive Entry: Only pigeons purchased from this page are eligible for the Elite Breeder’s Pool Program.
Dual Competition: These pigeons will compete in the Elite Breeder’s Pool Program and also the main Martinez Classic Grand Payout, giving Buyers and Breeders two chances to win big.
All pigeons in this program will be auctioned.
- Auction Split: 50% of the auction proceeds go to the Buyer, 50% to the Breeder, and 10% of the total auction sale goes to Martinez Classic as an auction fee.
Pigeon Registration: Pigeons purchased through this program will be registered under "Elite Breeders" in Wincompanion. The Buyer’s name and Breeder’s name will be displayed alongside the pigeon’s name.
Prize Split: All winnings, including the Elite Breeder’s Pool prize and main race payouts, are split 50% to the Buyer and 50% to the Breeder.
Shipping Responsibility: Buyers are responsible for the shipping costs to retrieve their birds after the season.
Refunds or Replacements: Birds purchased through the Elite Breeder’s Pool are not eligible for refunds or replacements if lost or injured after the activation race. We will reimburse the buyer if the pigeon doesn't make it to the activation race.
No Early Removal: Buyers cannot remove their pigeon from the competition until the season ends.

Rules for Breeders

Perch Fee Responsibility: Breeders cover the perch fee for each pigeon listed in the Elite Breeder’s Pool program.
Dual Payout Eligibility: Breeders earn 50% of all prize winnings, including the Elite Breeder’s Pool prize and any main race payouts won by their pigeons.
All pigeons in this program will be auctioned.

Breeder Eligibility: Only breeders who are invited by Martinez Classic and have placed in the top rankings of other OLRs and/or previous Martinez Classic seasons are eligible to list their birds in the program.
Accurate Listings: Breeders must provide accurate pedigrees and information for all birds entered in the program.
Shipping Responsibility: Breeders are responsible for shipping birds to the Martinez Classic loft.
Unsold Birds: Unsold birds remain the property of the Breeder and can be returned at their expense.
No Early Removal: Breeders cannot remove their pigeons from the competition until the season ends.
